The Crew Mindful Deception was conceived by Trebl in late 2003 its aim was to be a Newcastle based Hip Hop crew and make some music just for a bit of fun, then in June 2006 the crew was born when Trebl & Truth collaborated on a track about graffiti called "End2End", Trebl dropped the idea of MDC and Truth was keen to put some stuff together as a crew, not much happened in the meantime, a few tracks were made but life pretty much got in the way.

This year (2007) mc Drifter was brought into the crew and he and Trebl have currently been writing lyrics & coming up with ideas to put a demo CD out.

We have also decided to make all our music our own so that we don't have to pay royalties to anyone etc. so all the beats, cuts & recording is done by Trebl, not an external member.
